Bee Hotel alternative made in Switzerland

Last spring in Switzerland I was searching for a Bee House for the balcony and for the garden and all I could find were those wooden shallow boxes that are for sure decorative, but are they useful? I did some online research on what the characteristics of a good Bee Hotel should be, what materials to use and what dimensions are right and started to make my own. I enjoyed it so much that I decied to share this with others, that's how BeeAddress started.

There are handmade ceramic bee houses, bigger ones with reed straw pockets and upcycled beer-mugs converted to bee hotels with cardboard straws.

Don’t forget about the bees and butterflies during the heatwave. They need water to drink! You can place a bee bath in your garden, when they can have a drink safely.
